Club Organised Social

A great way to start your journey at SWCCT is by coming along as a visitor to play Social. This offers visitors an excellent introduction to the club’s standard and atmosphere.

Our Social Group is active, competitive, and always lively. Players join in for regular doubles matches, with foursomes mixed through our colour dot system to ensure balanced, enjoyable games. Full members and visitors with a suitable level of play are welcome.

Times and Fees

• Winter 13h00-17h00 | Summer 14h00-18h00
• Wednesdays - no charge for members, visitors pay R50pp
• Saturdays - members pay R25 ball fees, visitors pay R75pp (incl ball fees)
• Public Holidays - no charge for members, visitors pay R50pp

Please note that Summer and Spring league matches may impact Saturday availability depending on whether there are home games. During these periods (Jan-March & Sept-Oct), Saturday Social usually starts around 15h30 until late (floodlights to the rescue!)

Social Procedures and Rules

We have established a set of social rules that are designed to promote equal participation, courteous behaviour, and efficient court utilisation. By adhering to these rules, we aim to enhance the overall experience for every member, encouraging camaraderie and skill development on the court.

As a general rule, all courts are reserved during club organised Social and therefore no private games are possible. Social play follows the colour dot system and deviations are prohibited until after formal Social time is over.
